Shoot move shoot

Shoot move shoot is a technique used in time-lapse photography. Setting the camera in motion is a popular technique to add drama to time-lapse sequences. The purpose of the shoot move shoot technique is to avoid motion blur that might present itsself in the shot if the camera was in motion.

Simply explained, as time-lapses are still images, the camera moves in between when each still shot is taken.

This is usually controlled with a motion controller in a motorized setup, but the whole process can also be done manually.
